Ever since I can remember Metaphysics has been my only interest. My question is about multiple personalties. I’m having a hard time actually believing that there are all these different people living in one person. Is it possible that these personalties are from unresolved past lives, lives that were ended before reaching the life goal or lessons. Thank you for letting me express this.

I have often thought about this, as well, Brenda. As I am sure you know, multiple Personality Disorder (or DID, Dissociative Identity Disorder) is a very controversial, and unresolved, subject. One thing most folks agree on is that extreme trauma can damage our core self-consciousness, and allow us to identify with realities beyond the ‘norm.’ Psychologists call this a coping mechanism, but I agree with you that additional mechanisms, including past-life manifestation and/or disembodied spirit influence, should not be eliminated as potential sources of understanding for this deeply complicated phenomenon.
