It was so illuminating crossing paths with CS Lewis via your writing. I have, as of late, been undergoing a passionate attempt at reconciling an intuitive god-like approach, a Christology, if you wil, to Cosmology. Lewi's perspective on old cosmology revealed "truths" that I have flirted with in an attempt to arrive at that reconciliation. I've been giving considerable thought to a different type of apologetic, if you will, in explaining the Christ of biblical antiquity with regard to modern cosmological thinking. I'm a Christian with a long history of conventional religious thought and because of the emergence of a new social norm, especially in the United States today, I felt it necessary, to try and preserve the "truths" of Christology and integrate the selected writings of the synoptic gospels with the moral "truths" of today. That, of course, requires a pick and choose approach from the stand point of the body of works contained in the bible. I'm not going to go into the logical arguments required to support my contentions that Jesus's teaching, notwithstanding the epistles of St. Paul, let's say, is compatible with todays new social norm or morality. The blog contained herein, offers a new, for me anyway, cosmological view that might include that apologetic that was referred to previously. As my arguments develope I'll contribute my evolving perspective within this forum. Thanks so much for your introduction to CS Lewis.

Hi Kitty~ Thank you for your comments. This process is different for everyone, and they key is finding out what works for you, and your specific sensibilities ~ there will be more to come on this soon, but in the meantime a great companion book to this is "The Power of Now" by Echkart Tolle. It does not deal with Intuition specifically, but it teaches you to find your inner 'presence,' which is the state most conducive to Intuitive living. If you have not read this book, I highly recommend it. Namaste, xo

Hello,
I am nearing 64yrs. of age and have been trying to communicate but just can't seem to "get with it." I absolutely enjoy your "Psychic workshop" and am reading it for the 4th time. Have you written anything else that I might use to hopefully assist me on my journey.
I have had some contact with some of my family that has crossed over but would like more direct one to one connection. Any suggestions?
Getting to "that place" in my mind seems very difficult.
Thanks for your book and hopefully you have more I can read.
I truly believe in this and pray I can be successful before too much longer.

I have often thought about this, as well, Brenda. As I am sure you know, multiple Personality Disorder (or DID, Dissociative Identity Disorder) is a very controversial, and unresolved, subject. One thing most folks agree on is that extreme trauma can damage our core self-consciousness, and allow us to identify with realities beyond the 'norm.' Psychologists call this a coping mechanism, but I agree with you that additional mechanisms, including past-life manifestation and/or disembodied spirit influence, should not be eliminated as potential sources of understanding for this deeply complicated phenomenon.

Ever since I can remember Metaphysics has been my only interest. My question is about multiple personalties. I'm having a hard time actually believing that there are all these different people living in one person. Is it possible that these personalties are from unresolved past lives, lives that were ended before reaching the life goal or lessons. Thank you for letting me express this.

The ideal garden we are given to understand is a paradise - "a haven of comfort, abundance, and beauty." Many of us try to achieve that paradigm in our own way, as have countless others before us. Now gathered in one gorgeous volume are the results of those endeavors gleaned from diverse cultures and climes.

We begin our armchair tour with "Gardens Through the Centuries," a journey covering four thousand years beginning with the earliest gardens alive in the deserts of the Middle East. The first Mughal Emperor Babur (1483 - 1530) had a number of gardens including the Garden of Fidelity which was divided into four parts with a central pool.

Of course, the gardens designed in China and Japan expressed a respect for nature, evidenced in vast areas where the placement of each stone had meaning. Places for contemplation, stroll and moss gardens were found in Japan.

For this reader what can compare with the gardens of Italy? Hadrian's Villa near Tivoli boasts open porticoes, enclosed atriums, fountains, basins, statuary. It is a wonder. La Mortola on the Italian Riviera is a place for dreaming with a steep slope to the sea rich in agaves, aloes, white roses, salvias and citrus trees. A virtual Eden on earth.

Ms. Hobhouse continues our tour with a look at modern garden design as represented by such designers as Roberto Burle Marx, Fernando Caruncho, and Beth Chatto.

"In Search of Paradise" holds 240 pages and 200 illustrations all in glorious color contributed by the world's foremost garden photographers.

The is a volume to be savored and returned to again and again.
