Smart Thinking and A Free Will
“Every one who is seriously involved in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that a spirit is manifest in the laws of the Universe — a spirit vastly superior to that of man, and one in the face of which we with our modest powers must feel humble.” ~Einstein
One of the first obvious things that sets us apart from other life on this planet is our minds We are capable of reason and abstract thinking like no other species we know of. Not only do we have awareness, we have self-awareness — and a free will. We have the power to choose our destinies, and so create our lives.
With the predominance of our intellect, we have been able to scientifically ascertain a great deal about our existence, and also create great works of human engineering. Our minds are built to explore the world outside. Our minds are creators of science. And living at the height of the information age, our minds are at their hey day. But there is another world to explore, and new frontier that awaits….
The mind is the filter of our consciousness — it is the mechanism of our free will and our power to create. Through the mind, we direct our will and turn ideas into things, and imagination into reality.
